i wouldnt slam down the phone but it was still in my parents home,they lived and died there.. should have kept it. that sucker was heavy! wow it shocked me that a little kid wouldnt have noticed that. or how weak i am now...

yeah Maddy its those simple things we think about.and laugh. how would the kids handle it now> no push buttons. ha ha and dial o for the operator to call for you. small town. had multi party line and could listen in on their conver sations if you wanted. but we would not do that . how we were taught.. those little things add up to become a good person. things kids dont get today.
