Good. I deal with them daily and even at my company. Most of them were given a "provincial" CDL, stating that if they drove a semi in their own country, the US just gave them the CDL. No test, no background check, no school, nothing. I on the other hand, had to provide my schooling, take a test and drivers road test, provide my birth certificate, my marriage license, husbands death certificate, a lease or mortgage agreement and pass the vision and DOT physical requirements. Saw this first hand in Florida with them just handing out the licenses. I asked, by whose authority are you doing this and she said she could not say. Nor, did they speak English, let alone read or write it, which is a law per Federal DOT rules that state you must, speak, write and read English. I'm fixing to call DOT and Ice and have them investigate this. Makes me sick that they're just handed everything because they're not US Citizens.
