Been going on a LONG time!
My father spent some time in an orphanage in MD run by the Catholic Church with Nuns and at least 1 pervert Priest that went after my father. His sisters were taken in by family members. My Dad's father working for US Gov. He became ill.. eventually treated for TB. Returned to work supposedly healed, injured, and died of a superficial wound.
My Dad returned home with brothers who were determined to bring the family together and support the family.
Anyway there was a Fire....beneath the structure of the Catholic Orphanage burnt to the ground. In the ruins of the fire they found many many many tiny skeletons.
Believe they were living in Baltimore. Know it was Maryland.
I am so sorry!! I am so angry at the catholic church. I have never again searched for any church community, I simply do not want to be part of one. They make my skin crawl. I guess I have good reason after reading these articles!

you reminded me of something the Lord gave me so very long ago.
I would puzzle over why I had been in so many denominations..as a child.
"He will pull His own out of every Denomination and every Church."
Remember Jude says "They slip in by the side door professing Christ but not knowing Him."
Or wolfs in sheep's clothing, tares mixed in.
Listening for His still small voice...knowing His peace that surpasses understanding.. a peace not of this world. We have to know His lead not follow blindly even someone we think we can trust. 1John says "And if in any way my thinking is incomplete He (God) too will make it clear to me."
Satan comes in the most desired package ...maybe to some it's a Pastor, a husband...a Church. Scripture says "The heart is deceitful."
We all fall short of the glory of God..
Look at Disciples, He chooses lowly rejected of this world to display His splendor...WE KNOW IT IS HIM..in us!

When I look on the surface I see the surface...The Lord sees the heart and motives.
If this giving is motivated by works..well maybe flushing the $ away is better than an addiction.
When we see from outside we don't know what God is working out.
Evangelists too... they will answer to God..as we each will. As I humble myself beneath the mighty hand of God..He has shown me how short I too fall. Sin is sin. That leads to repentance and forgiveness of others.
I find it hard not to like others. When you know where a person came from it is so easy to care!
We are ALL a work in process...if I get my own stuff out ...burning off the dross...it gets easier to forgive..I have been forgiven much!
Jesus said all judgement is left up to God.
Who am I to judge on someone's actions.
