i remember this from when he first said it. it was so touching and emotional.. when we all were so proud of our country.. (because we had no clue). i believe he did this on his last television performance. i have to wonder if he did it to remind us of who we were at that time and to go forward.. we totally lost all of it over the years... but it is back now and growing. God bless this man.. he was special.
