I would like to ask for prayers for my sister, her name is Bev, she is in the Critical Care Unit at a Hospital. She had been to the ER, with a respiratory infection, they told her she had the flu. Sent her home with medication. She return 5 days later with a life threatening case of Pneumonia. She became non-resonsive. They put her on a ventilator, and diaylisis as her organs were trying to shut down. She finally started responding, but weak. They had to remove the ventilator, and put in a trach. I saw her, she was trying to talk almost non stop. Now they say they need to put in a feeding tube in her stomach, and a dialysis tube in her chest. Could I please get some prayers for her. Thank you!

Do you know what medication they gave? Some of that stuff kills you. Hospitals are killing people still.....

I know, several things are amiss, fentnyl, propaphal. The thing is her son was her guardian while she was non-responsive, when she woke up she told them I would make decisions. I'm not a doc, but I have 40 years experience in the medical field, on the paperwork side, 2 thing I saw with my own eyes, 1. she was breathing above the vent all the time which tells me, they possibly could have taken out the vent and let her breathe on her own. Everyday when I would leave they would say she had trouble breathing and put her back on the meds. 2. the respiratory therapist. Did not put the hose for the trach on right walked out of the room, her oxygen level went to 78%. That same afternoon they did a swallow test, she passed. Then 2 days later they want to do the tube in her chest. And tube in her stomach. The problem I have is It's a learning hospital. I believe they are doing these procedures to teach. I spent the first 22 days with her. When I leave things happen.
