Turkey Arms Syria: New Memorandum of Cooperation
Ankara and Damascus signed a memorandum of understanding on August 13, 2025, which opens the door to the supply of weapons, logistical equipment and technical assistance to the Syrian side.
The document also provides for the training of Syrian specialists in the handling of new weapons.
