Well, don't ask me why I remember -but for me, the sugar cube was polio, the scar was from smallpox.
I might be wrong, but I always thought my mother was better off than I was because she had fewer vaccines, if any, as a child.
Also think I might be better off than my own children, because I got less poison than they did.
My grandchildren- one couldn't handle vaccines. She was completely passed out after an early doctor appointment and then after the chicken pox vax, she got chicken pox.

Certainly not smallpox. I had smallpox, I wasn't vaccinated against it, and I have this scar on my arm too. And polio was really a sugar cube with something I refused to eat and when no one saw me I threw it away - at about age 9 (at school and without my parents knowing, my mom made a huge fuss at school afterwards and I was praised at home for not eating it).

People in previous generations who were thoughtful knew what the plague or Spanish flu really was. Everyone was healthy until they were vaccinated, but after the vaccination they usually got very high fevers and then died. Both grandmothers told me about it.
Years ago, out of curiosity, I got employed at SUKL (State Institute for Drug Control https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_Institute_for_Drug_Control ) and there I learned so many interesting things from the people in the approval department (laboratories) that it only confirms this thesis.
If you get vaccinated, you are much more likely to get the disease than if you are not vaccinated! And the side effects (the actual active ingredients) - the heads of doctors and politicians would be rolling in the streets if people were told the whole truth.
