Although Obama speaks in broad terms on this video, he says,
“If Mr. Trump is up 10 or 15 points on election day and ends up losing, then maybe he can raise some questions”.
The common sense interpretation of that statement is: “If there’s a notable deviation from historical precedent on how elections normally proceed”, then maybe he can raise some questions”. Assuming that’s a reasonable interpretation, let’s look at what he didn’t include in that sentence.

First of all, he didn’t say when during the election cycle his measurements were to be taken. Let’s assume that if during the first hour of voting (back in 2016 they hadn’t yet done the mass mail out ballot and early voting extremes), that Trump was ahead, but ended up losing somewhat later during the day, then that scenario would be hard to dispute if Trump had lost.
