I would never buy a "modern" contemporary car for many reasons. It's a trap for fools who think it's going to not be hacked remotely. And I can't explain it to them because they have a hollow head. Everything electronic can be hack remotely.
My good old car still has crank windows, petrol not diesel and minimum consumption.

I remember my parents mixing xylene https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xylene , toluene https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toluene and little technical gasoline and it replaced regular gasoline but at minimal cost. Only Dad had to clean the nozzles once in a while, otherwise it worked perfectly. We had two huge drums of xylene and toluene in the garage.
