Darn right. Public officials who steal our taxpayer monies cause many citizens to sacrifice one thing to pay for another, their lives really compromised because of having to pay high taxes.
If I were in charge of sentencing them, I'd confiscate all their money and their jail time would be years equivalent to the number of years they stole from us.
40 years in 'public service' = 40 years in prison, doing hard time!
Since they are so worried about who will work in farms to pick crops ( illegals ) that would be a great job for them while they serve their 40 + yrs.. Problem solved..
