This current age has everyone so strapped for time that people rely on quick and easy way too much. I find great pleasure in cooking from scratch... bread, hamburger buns, biscuits, pie crusts, cookies, pizza. All easy to make at home and so satisfying to know the few ingredients that they contain. Shop for simple ingredients and make your own meals. Get away from processed foods (and sugar!) and you'll easily avoid the poisons on the list. Meats, veggies, pasta, rice. Keep it simple and yummy.
And yes... push for them to be removed from our foods! Remember, supply and demand works. Don't buy their crap. Buy the bounty God provides and find joy in creating wonderful tasting, healthy foods. Your body will thank you!
