Where you been?!?? In truth, I am not on AU as much as in the past...
THANKS for posting this BT video... There is a lot to be said about "Being in the Quiet." I think of the Scripture: "Be still and know.." (Psalm 46:10)
When we were children, our Mother used to have my 4 siblings and I frequently sit quietly on the couches in our family room for 30 minute stretches, during the summertime. She gave us the command, "Do not let your feet touch the floor during this time." Generally, children resented this, but we learned how to communicate with our eyes, and probably even with our minds during that time. All these years later, we all realize what a VALUABLE practice that was....

I did the same for our children! They experienced the same things we did, and they acknowledge that practice increased their friendship! With them, I sometimes added recorded music during their 'good time outs!' 😊
