If they were only in DC the number of days they should be, not living there so they can play politics and network with lobbyists and make deals, but be in their own district listening to and helping their constituents, they could be fine on their salary and have a travel and hotel per diem for when they are in DC. Problem is they are in politics for life that’s why they stay in DC have houses there. Term limits are way over due.
