i know. seems they got off to the wrong start with no help and didnt know how to seek it out. i actually feel badly for them. someone can turn them around . but who will now. i saw a lot of this type behavior many decades ago when working in prenatal clinic. they had limitd goals and life didnt seem to be working in their favor. bad choices but no options on the good side. gave up. essentially. that is what we are seeing more blatantly. essentially. we will give you X and you will be happy.per the left. and no no one is giving them anything and their angry. i see it unfortunatley in my grandson who is 24. no goals. dyslexic and sent to an expensive high school in cal.. tell you everything right there. no expectations and just give me money..which his momma gives him. the dad would have been a better choice (my side).. i saw the future when he was 8. told my hubby my thoughts and he says today. you were right. unfortunately i was.. we have had no communication for 7 years. brainwashed.

Oh wow, I hope you can mend that relationship ship. when I got out of the Navy my son was born 9 days later. No matter what was needed, he got his first, he was clean, dry, fed, and safe. no matter what I needed. I brought him home on my 23rd birthday, but back then we did not run to welfare for help, we did it on our own. I'm proud to say all three of my children earn good livings, none had college educations until just recently, my daughter earned her bachelor's degree, and is now going to get her Masters in Homelsnd Security. She is not awake!!! I would think most of this is how much you love your child, what you are willing to do for them to be safe. We always say we want more for our children. Maybe we should rethink that.
