My step father, he was a Senior Chief Master Sargent upon retirement. Then did a full tenure in civil service.
My father was as I was told requested early for service. Like young enough had to have the parents signatures. Could speak fluent latin even as a child SUPER crazy high IQ. Card counter etc. Its murky but high up in mil finance.
