Dr. Lee Merritt makes the interesting argument that horse paste Ivermectin dewormer is the safest form of Ivermectin to obtain, because the "master poisoners" aka Phrygians/Khazarian Mafia are at their roots a horse-culture and they would never harm their horses (you know those pure bloodline breeds like Thoroughbreds).
Makes sense to me.
What's good for the horse is good for the rider, we Cowboys always say.

Would it be safe to use on dogs? If so, where can I find information on dosage?

Fenbendazole is what I hear is safe for dogs, based on my own research. That's why it's available over the counter for dogs at many feed stores. I have heard some breeds of dog might not do well with Ivermectin and I think that might be from the die off of certain parasites that when dying, urp their toxins and possibly even kill the dog, so best use fenbendazole which is already approved for dogs.
Be sure to do your research, and read labels but fenbendazole is available for doggies and is measured by dog's weight right on the box.
