Texas House to Consider State-Sponsored Guest Worker Program After Millions of Illegal Crossings
The United States is working overtime to deport the millions of illegal aliens allowed into this country by the previous administration. But today, the Texas House will consider HB 2858, which would create a state-sponsored guest worker program. This bill was given a favorable recommendation by the Texas House Committee on State Affairs, but five Republicans on the committee, including Rep. Dade Phelan, voted to stop the measure.
