The Houthis announced to us
they don’t want to fight anymore.
We will honor that & we will stop the bombings.
THEY HAVE CAPITULATED. WE WILL TAKE THEIR WORD.
They say they won’t be blowing up ships anymore.
Very positive. I will accept their word
& we will stop the bombings of the Houthis
effective immediately..
THIS IS REALLY CRUNCH TIME FOR IRAN.
This is the most important time in the history of Iran for Iran.
I hope they do what’s right. I’d love to see a Peace Deal
BUT THEY CANNOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.
We want it to be a great country.
Let it be a tremendously successful rich country.
The people are incredible,
they have vast amounts of oil & assets.
BUT THEY CAN’T HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.

"Capitulated"...Refer to DOD LAW OF WAR MANUAL (page 868):
12.8.1 Definition of Capitulation. A capitulation is an agreement (sometimes with certain conditions) entered into between commanders of belligerent forces for the surrender of a body of forces, a fortress, or other defended locality, or of a district of the theater of operations.
In other words, Kat, the Houthis officially SURRENDERED,
probably because they got tired of being blown to smithereens 💥 and simultaneously figured out that PEACE IS THE PRIZE. 🕊️
Of course, they could have just figured out
PEACE IS THE PRIZE in the first place. 🙄

Of course, the assumption is the other side will abide by the 'rules'.
The big mistake Westerners make when dealing with islam, is, they believe islam will do what it SAYS it will do.
Islam does not view lying as a sin- particularly when the lie is to an enemy.
I forsee this latest iteration of islams active fighting force laying low (they do not view it as cowardice), then striking again at some future date.
We MUST get out of the habit of thinking they will act the way WE would in that situation.
They, do not think the way we do, they ONLY respect the big stick - used over, and over and over. Their conditioning refuses to let them be any other way - because to criticuse Islam, is a death penalty offence.
Islams only reason for existence, is a worldwide caliphate.
