One reason might be because neither men are Catholic
& it is traditional for Catholics to wear black at a funeral.
President/CiC Trump was raised in his mother’s
Presbyterian faith but he has publicly stated
he considers himself a “nondenominational Christian.”
Prince William is officially an Anglican & as King,
would become Supreme Gov of The Church of England
like Ch3 & QE2.
But Prince William is like Trump & more ‘inclusive’ regards religion.
Another reason for POTUS blue suit might be
as 589bull posted. “Blue: Rebirth. Authority. Sovereignty.”
IMO William is working with POTUS & QTeam.

Have to admit this side of the story (UK Royals) has been difficult for me to come to terms with. Don’t mistake me, ANYONE who has harmed children must be eradicated.
My issue’s based on my research into QEII and her father’s side of the family as i couldn’t understand how the uk press was getting away with their relentless stalking of Prince Charles and Princess Diana when they got engaged - it was so destructive and i felt they were not being given a chance to make a life together.
The most relevant (to me) thing i learnt was Prince Albert “Bertie” was despised by his father as a weakling, mainly because of his speech defect, and excluded from the training to be king; he was sidelined; not important enough, and deemed a more natural person as a result. I don’t have the sources any more (there was a lot) but i always felt they were good guys as a result.
It seems i was wrong. (Got Boris Johnson wrong too.). Will pray Pr William is untainted
