The fact is that doctors are not trained in pharmaceuticals, they are puppets that repeat what their Pharmaceutical rep tells them to say. I know, I was in the RX business. Also, many doctors, hospitals etc get nice bonuses, vacations etc if they prescribe certain pharmaceuticals. My advice is find and independently owned pharmacy, talk to the owner and he or she will be your greatest resource.
