I’m never a fan of the government complicating my life even more, but I think this “REAL ID” situation is the gateway to voter ID.
Why? Because blue states have been handing out driver’s licenses to illegals, so a driver’s license is not secure enough to use as voter ID. A REAL ID requires confirmation of citizenship and residency, which would serve as a valid and secure form of ID, to ensure only US citizens are voting in US elections.
My guess is, that in the future, everyone will need a REAL ID, or other proof of citizenship, in order to vote in US elections, which I 100% support.
Those claiming that this is some sort of Orwellian tracking operation or government overreach, I think is preposterous. We are already being tracked every second of every day via our cell phones, cars, devices, etc.
Did it ever occur to you to eliminate fraudulant elections and jail ALL voter fraud in every way and kick these crimmigrants out of the country ?? Because that is the only reason this communistic idea is even put out there. We wouldn't "need " this if our nations laws were followed and arrests made. I would look to see what Clandestine is getting for pimping this so forcefully.

Agree with your principle on this Sara. What exercises me is how you eliminate the “crimmigrants” entrenched in communities for many years - the open borders have been an issue for a long while, but became turbo-charged more recently. Maybe something like this is needed to identify them?

The government knows exactly where most illegals are since pretty much ALL of them are syphoning welfare, medicaid , schools etc. They are lying to us AGAIN and apparently Trump is IN on the lies.
