This is a very good article, despite the first sentence:
“It’s cliché, yet true — the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and expecting a different result.”
This is Not the definition of insanity. That sentiment is one strong, frequently repeated instance of delegitimizating our language. Bill Clinton was quoted as saying this - I’ve always imagined this as a subtle, subversive sound bite that Saul Alinsky would be proud of.
