🦅🇺🇸🪖 President/CiC Trump planted, what he called
a “MAGA-nolia” tree today @ the White House.

🌺 It is a direct descendant of the historic “Jackson Magnolia,”
which was the oldest tree on White House grounds.
The old tree was a sapling brought from Jackson’s home in TN.

🌺 The new 12-year old sapling is descended
from the original tree which, according to tradition,
Jackson planted in honor of his wife,
who passed just before his swearing-in, 1829.

🌺 In March, POTUS Truthed that Jackson’s magnolia
was “in terrible condition” & had to be removed
but some of its wood would be preserved
