Lots and lots of smoke to that fire.

A couple of 1970's movies that I've always enjoyed laid out scenarios of the worst of the Nazis escaping to South America: Marathon Man and The Boys from Brazil. Both featured the consensus greatest actor at the time, Lawrence Olivier, to share this theory.
