We received a new phone to use with the HALO3 hub we were sent from BT, on the box is EE. The master socket connector had to be plugged into the new router, but if there's a power cut the phone couldn't be used.
We don't have a mobile phone, so BT had to send us a power box to connect via satellite if power was off.
BT set up a new 2 year account for us starting March 28. I had asked if this was the#QPhone - the reply was a muffled yes.
I am suspicious, the phone is not a mobile but one which can be used without cable, and sits on a cabled base so in effect would operate wifi to the router.
BT had reps at Davos. and advertise they will soon become part of EE.
They will know we're not#vaccinated - we were targeted this last winter. Does it track us? I haven't set it up, remaining cabled for now.
