As an educator, I have been very interested in this. Did the fall in education scores happen when they stopped teaching cursive writing? I always thought I was more of a kinetic learner because of my need to take notes. Several of my children have photographic memories so they listen or see it. Lucky for them it is easily retrieved. I take notes mostly in cursive because that is faster. However, I found my most memory-connected and easily accessed notes are drawings.

This is extremely important.
We don't even write birthday cards anymore,
but we text and add emojis like a b-day cake and
sadly, people are satisfied with that.
I've noticed a move from actually having phone conversations to texting, abominable, imo.
