Venezuela accepts migrant flight with Tren de Aragua members: US
A plane carrying 199 undocumented migrants arrived in Venezuela after the U.S. restarted deportation flights to the country. Venezuela had stopped accepting flights earlier in the month when the U.S. blocked Chevron’s license to export Venezuelan oil. The group included some individuals linked to the Tren de Aragua gang, which has been connected to crimes in the U.S. The return of these flights was part of an agreement between the U.S. government and Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Meanwhile, legal disputes continue in the U.S. over the deportation policies used by the Trump administration.
