I had never heard of her, but she managed approximately 300 lawyers and staff across four divisions in Alexandria, Richmond, Norfolk, and Newport News, serving over six million residents. Her role was to oversee financial fraud, public corruption, violent crime, and child exploitation cases
She resigned just before Trump took office in January of 2025.
I pay next to zero attention to the DC landscape of politicians and political appointees, so I know nothing about her. Her death, opposite the timing of her resignation and age, is of course considered suspect by many given her age and position.
