Must be voluntary with informed consent; no mandated treatment by the court or prison system or "preferred treatment" as determined by insurance. It is interesting that cocaine, methamphetamines, and pedophilia are not part of the study because alcohol and opium addictions are often symptoms of people coping or self-medicating from trauma.
