Patriot,...I hear you!
I have long been puzzled why they would choose lesser than God. Once I asked the Lord Why don't they accept you? That day I saw in scripture they don't choose God because of pride. WOW!
Like Satan Pride. Makes me watch Pride in my life and thinking too highly of myself. Recall an article a friend sent after a conversation...it spoke about someone accusing the other getting defensive initially then agreeing...you are right...
I like being reminded of that!
YES! We all have fallen short of the glory of God!
Takes the wind out of accusation...and it stops pride.
Recalled someone saying years ago anyone would believe with those Egyptian Miracles. I thought silently...NOT ME! I have lots of Miracle stories where I was protected...yet it has been the tribulations and difficulties that have taught me perseverance proven character and hope.

Thank you Casey for your brilliant response. Pride is our downfall, self importance can drag us to death. When we do something for another without wanting recognition, thanks, or publicity we are with Him instead of the self. So many opportunities He provides to make this choice! I’ve felt guided since childhood and grateful for it.

Yes, they do enjoy paining others too. That’s evil and hellish on earth.
