Back in 2005 to 8 I worked in the University Health Science Center, part of the A&M system...
At the time H1N1 was the big deal... I worked producing promo material for their medical services.
They spent a bunch of money- and H1N1 turned into a giant nothing burger.
Here they are 20 years on, doing it again, with the next generation.
A&M would spend millions on its football team, while buildings were falling apart (my office was below ground, and, when it rained, water would flow down the outside wall..).
It was nothing but politics and self agrandizement, the fact a pedo got caught there, does not surprise me in the least... daddy Bush has his library there, after all

I would think so - the Medical Science Center had a tunnel they used to move the preserved bodies to the anatomy wing by... our department was at the library end.
They built a new campus for the Health Science Center up the road, but, the entity was then absorbed back into the University System, ie it no longer had its own Chancellor.
All politics. It was the last government job I ever had, I swore as I left I would never work for gov again... the folk were mental.
