Ivermectin is used to treat meningeal worms in llamas and alpacas, so yes it does go through the blood brain barrier. White tail deer are a host for the meningeal worm, which gets passed onto llamas and alpacas, it affects their brain and spinal cord. Most farmers who have llamas or alpacas normally treat with ivermectin before signs or symptoms show up.

Just a thought, do you want parasites in your brain? Are you taking ivermectin with heavy metals?

I've thought of trying that but after reading about it was afraid of over-doing it.

Have a friend who took the whole tube of horse ivermectin, he's not a big guy, and had no problems. I wouldn't recommend taking a whole tube.

My doc was surprised I did not have a reaction to it, but she refused to allow me to have the ivermectin. So I decided to try the Wormwood and it works!
