Years ago when doing yard work I got a spider bite. The red area srarted out small, but within 30 minutes it had spread. Opened up a charcoal capsule and added just enough water to make a paste. Applied over the bite and covered w/ a huge bandage. Next day it was gone.

I had some in my cabinet. I got a call a few weeks back from my neighbor asking if I had any because their dog had eaten something toxic. I went to their house and administered it to the dog. She drank lots of water and was perked up and wagging her tail in no time. The veterinarian told them that I saved her life. I give God the credit because I was praying as I gave the charcoal to her.
