I am still waiting to hear from the IRS. I owe $4400 from last year, and didn't have the money to send.
I wrote a letter to the IRS telling them it was my innerstanding the IRS was never properly ratified, and paying was voluntary. I no longer volunteer to pay tasxes on my income, and I would appreciate it if all Federal taxes paid in the past, ithey could send me back all the illegal taxes they had collected from me in my lifetime.
Letter came back 3 months ago that they needed more time to investigate my claims.
Still waiting.
