I wrote them a letter, and told them I was aware income taxes were voluntary, and I no longer volunteer. I also said I would appreciate them returning ALL Federal taxes my husband and I have paid in our lifetime. I asked them to please send me a copy of the Law that stated it was mandatory to pay income taxes.
I received a letter back that they needed more time to review my claims, but I could still make payments while we were waiting. I sent a letter back and told them I was still waiting for them to send me a copy of the income tax LAW. WAITING.

I wonder how far I'll get by asking my employer to stop withholding taxes, and whether any lawyer would bother to give me 10 seconds of their time.
