Vital witnesses return to the North Plympton dig site as the Beaumont search continues for its third day

Two brothers who said prime suspect hired them to dig “grave-like hole” have returned to the site where searchers believe the Beaumont children are buried

Brothers, Robin and David Harkin were paid by Adelaide businessman, Harry Phipps, to dig a “grave-like hole” at the former Castalloy factory south-west of Adelaide, only days after the Beaumont children went missing.

Harry Phipps who previously owned the site located in North Plympton, has long been considered a suspect in the disappearance of nine-year-old Jane, seven-year-old Arnna and four-year-old Grant, who went missing from Glenelg Beach on January 26, 1966.
