🚨 US Pharmacist has another message for Elon Musk and DOGE for saving Medicare money

“DOGE $1.4 billion wasted on 1 drug”

- Drug name Aripiprazole, Medicare is OVERPAYING BY 1633% PER PRESCRIPTION
- Aripiprazole was dispensed 7.2 million times in 2022 at an average of $208 each
- That makes the total that Medicare spent $1.5 billion in one year on only 1 drug
- At a pharmacy that doesn’t take insurance, “That medication costs 12 bucks”

- If we filled all 7.2 million of those, the total cost would be $86 million. That means that of the $1.5 billion that they spent more than $1.4 billion of that was wasted
