Oh yes, I think some made deals,
but very limited deals - something like...
1) Cooperate and reputation temporarily preserved and then get a Firing Squad which is merciful and instant,
or
2) don't cooperate and reputation smashed and get a hangman's noose which could take awhile if things don't go so perfect.
