Prorogation hearing were held in Ottawa on the 13th and 14th.
From an independent journalist covering the hearings: "Someone who is identifying himself as "Yusuf" and a "Canadian citizen" has stood up in the courtroom and wants to make a statement. The Chief Justice is telling him to sit down. He was permitted to pass a note to the JCCF counsel and is now sitting down. Not sure what that was all about, but I'll see if I can track down Yusuf during break to see what happened there and what the contents of the note were. Security has entered the room and are sitting behind Yusuf and watching him closely.
"I spoke to Yusuf during the break and he confirmed that the incident referred to earlier wherein he stood up in the court was related to a preliminary motion from another citizen, ordered by a judge yesterday. It is related to a citizen copyright claim regarding the Charter."

"For those who are curious, here is a copy of that preliminary motion. The motion was not heard despite Yusuf's best efforts. The gentleman—Norman Traversy—who was granted the preliminary motion was, according to his claim, escorted out of the courtroom by six police officers."
