Perhaps more shockingly, the money went to Pakistan thanks to a deal brokered by Sen Schumer. The Roosevelt Hotel is owned by Pakistan and is now leased by NYC to house illegal migrants. Thanks to FEMA, Pakistan has made $100 million so far out of a total $220 million deal negotiated by the city.
