My Grampa counted paratroopers

My Gramma was in the USO,
& my great-Uncle was in Intelligence
& spoke Chinese before it was de rigueur.
They were a formidable family
& if they were here now

Quick story. My grandpa was a very respected Lawman, rode a 17-Hand Warmblood. He passed away when I was a teen. Rode after fugitives & ALWAYS got his man. VERY old school.
Years after he passed on, my Grandma got into a real bad near death situation. I had to act fast to save her & did. All came out OK & she recovered fully.
A few weeks after that rescue, my Grandpa appeared to me in a dream, thanked me for saving his beloved wife. So vivid. I will NEVER forget that dream.
Our loved ones passed on are OK, doing fine IMO. We're Eternal Souls here having a Human experience.
