How do I communicate to people that the PTSD is too overwhelming and I don't know what to do anymore because nobody takes me seriously and all they do is tell me to pray and I genuinely need human love now
I try to live through it, yep is hard to do n keep moving forwards, thing is this has me moving forwards, stops me from thinking, override it by sharing my life in ways most will not see,/n hope they don't in ways,, its my mental game to stop the real fucking pain...

Hey Lauren, I had PTSD after a car accident. I overcame it by living in the moment. I tended to keep looping the accident in my brain. Practicing mindfulness is not easy but it does work. It trains your brain and reduces panic. I got this from the internet. "Also note this recent article from Psychology Today which says "Living in the moment—also called mindfulness—is a state of active, open, intentional attention on the present." Alternatively, but a little more highbrow, you might consider: "Epicureanism" - a Greek philosophy from around 307BCE." https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/articles/200811/the-art-now-six-steps-living-in-the-moment
