This looks like a hole was drilled through the wall from the apartment above. It wasn't there when I moved in. A few years ago, there was a noise like a drill and then plaster fell down from this very spot.
There is no coincidence.

🤔 Hmm, I can hear banging into the wall right above me...today, around 13:25. Right by the chimney.
They're either trying to cover up the tracks, or they're making the hole through the wall bigger...? ...what the hell are they doing there?! Plus, it put out flame in a gas stove for water heating in bathroom (in Czech called "karma"), so there's something going on there.
I also heard similar bangs today around noon on the apartment floor below me directly under the stove, where I have the gas supply is also located.
