“Here's how the new formula works. The tenant's current rent is multiplied by a differential index to adjust for the new market value of that apartment, then that number is multiplied over 24 months

Their example:

$2,479 (Current rent)
x 1.9821 (Differential index)
= $4915 x 24 months (The cities new standard)
= $117,959 TOTAL COST TO EVICT SOMEONE
