For the first time we did not use whipping cream over Christmas... because EVERY SINGLE VARIETY had carregenan and or guar gum added... evert, single, one.
I cannot wait for real milk and non adulterated cream to be back on the shelves.

Mince pies, finishing for pumpkin soup, parsley sauce, plumb pudding - ALL had to be done with half and half, butter and corn starch instead... just not the same...☹️

Am with ya on that!! Cannot wait for all the shelves (of hopefully the comeback of local farmers market stores) to have whole/raw milk and all real foods.
