Authorities say several suspects ranging in age from 12 to 14 years old approached a 25-year-old man at an apartment complex and attempted to rob him while displaying pistols.

The would-be victim drew a firearm of his own and reportedly shot three of the youths.

All three injured suspects were rushed to local hospitals while the fourth was apprehended a short time later.

“One of them suffered multiple gunshot wounds and HPD said is recovering in an ICU. The other two reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries,” KHOU reports.

The robbery victim also turned himself in to authorities, but it is unclear if anyone will face charges.
