The Best American Science and Nature Writing 2020 - by Michio Kaku & Jaime Green (Paperback). There is some great writing here; however, the mission of the book includes elevating physicists to leadership in science which would certainly help with the IT/Bio/Nano age mentioned in the presentation you shared. Interestingly, one of the strategies to achieve this outcome is great storytelling including involving the public in the dram of the scientists... get out of town!
I think there is value in some of the science, but what we are experiencing needs to be presented in balance.
