I think there are three (3) most critical US court cases in American History:
1) Marbury v. Madison, 5 U.S. 137 (1803)
"...an act of the legislature, repugnant to the constitution, is void."
2) United States v Throckmorton, 98 U.S. 61 (1878)
"fraud vitiates everything"
and
3) the Tina Peter's CASE, which ain't over yet.
