We picked blackberries off a very long fence row at my grandma's house. Then we'd rinse them off with water hose in the 5 gallon buckets my grandpa drilled holes in the bottom of so the water would drain thru. Then grandma would make jams, jellies and double crusted big pans of cobbler. I can remember the wonderful taste of that as I'm thinking of it. I sure miss those days and my wonderful grandparents.
