Does anyone find it curious at all that the bad people are playing out the evil parts of the bible a little too well?

Have to assume Evil has at least looked at Bible Cliffsnotes to figure out how it ends. Right?

Can only come up with 2 reasons why they would proceed. Either they are Mocking themselves into a trap or the Bible was edited generations ago to make sure no one got in the way of a generational plan for total evil domination.
